Thank you for visiting “TSUNAGU” (Connecting Nagareyama).
I moved to Nagareyama in 2007. At that time, Nagareyama Otakanomori S.C. had just been built, and the surrounding roads were not completed yet at all. It was right in the development stage.
Since then, I have been watching Nagareyama grow and raising my children.
“If you’re going to be a mother, choose Nagareyama (Haha ni narunara Nagareyama)”
I have felt the improvement in livability as the city catches up to become a city worthy of that catchphrase.
It has good access to the city center, is rich in greenery, and the people who live there are warm. Thanks to this wonderful city, I have been able to raise my children while being able to commute to Tokyo area.
Now, I’d like to make Nagareyama, which I love as much as my hometown, a richer and more livable city – and maintain that environment even when we, the child-rearing generation, are raising our grandchildren in the future.
To that end, I want to connect people with all the charms of Nagareyama more and more. By acting as a hub for people who live in Nagareyama or the surrounding area, people who are planning to visit or are interested in Nagareyama, and people who work in Nagareyama, we hope to contribute in some way to revitalizing the local economy and improving the quality of life of residents.
